The Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals or objectives of project are defined and accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.


  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project(s) and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Lead the commissioning of equipment on site ensuring that the process is validated before handover to operations.
  • Ensures collaborative cross-functional project team participation to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control all phases of a project or subproject to ensure work efforts are executed on time, within budget, and according to established requirements reliably and repeatedly.
  • Manages customer relationship and acts as the key escalation point for all product programs, projects and operational performance issues.
  • Manages the process to ensure Customers' expectations are clearly defined, understood and communicated across the appropriate departments.
  • Assists and monitors resources for manufacture, assembly, test, and package.
  • Provides the necessary leadership and support to manage projects in line with project management processes and associated policies and procedures.
  • Interacts between sales, customers, and operations, communicating project priorities. Confers with project personnel to resolve problems.
  • Prepares project status reports and maintains/updates and schedules/coordinates project meetings - for management, clients or others.

  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations including Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing etc.
  • Medical device or regulated industry experience highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in problem solving processes and techniques.
  • Create/Manage milestone schedules.
  • Analyse and proactively look for issues that may delay delivery.
  • Be conversant and have a good working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Business systems and knowledge of impact to business

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) - Preferred
  • 2-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination education and experience.
  • Experience with FDA and ISO quality system requirements - Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Project Management
  • Accredited Lean / Six Sigma qualification (Green Belt or Higher) - a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in working with customers, sales and marketing and engineering - Preferred.
