Job Title Specialist, Cook Events - EMEA

Responsible for planning, directing and assuring evaluation of strategic business unit (SBU) meetings, events and trade shows. Assist in clarifying SBUs' priorities at events to ensure consistent brand image and corporate communication through effective execution.

  • Interface with key business partners to ensure global expectations are being met and oversee proposals through execution to achieve strong measurable objectives.
  • Work with European sales and marketing managers to develop and manage the European events and trade show calendar.
  • Work with SBUs to identify optimal use of booth properties for effective process improvements and development of best practices.
  • Coordinate various disciplines required to ensure goals and objectives are met, including exhibit design, exhibit floor planning, rentals, audio/ visual hardware, special events, catering, entertainment, event logistics, lead generation and event follow-up.
  • Evaluate results including lessons learned, recommendations for improvement, cost/benefit analysis and Return On Objectives.
  • Prepare and submit relevant documentation in accordance with specific country requirements.
  • Maintain accurate files for reference and audit purposes.
  • Maintain key business supplier relationships, develop timelines with key milestones, and monitor execution.
  • Travel to various shows and events as required.
  • Must work effectively with and for others to achieve company goals.
  • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
  • Must maintain company quality standards.
  • Ensure that Cook's Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook's behalf.

  • Degree in Marketing/Event Management preferred.
  • Fluency in Italian is essential for this role; fluency in another European language other than English is also desirable.
  • Medical marketing and/or event experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision and as a team player.
  • High initiative and self-motivation.
  • Willingness and availability to travel on Company business.
