Description HR & Candidate Resourcer Intern


The main objective of the role is to generate, contact and process applicants for the medical and hospitality divisions by working with and supporting, recruiters. This will involve candidate generation through database management, e-marketing, and jobs board searches. Secured candidates will then be screened against job descriptions and their documentation will be processed to completion of hire if candidates are successful. After sufficient training the HR intern will be independent of supervision, to be capable for all of the duties described below and to take responsibility to ensure that each of these duties are carried out properly.

Reporting to the Lead Consultant you will be responsible for:

Candidate Search, Selection & Process
Contacting applicants on current database about vacancies & their career requirements
Updating candidate and employee databases with full information
Undertaking candidate regeneration through database e-shots and specialist candidate generation campaigns
Updating Social Media with job opportunities and engaging in discussion with potential applicants through company social media portals
Contacting colleges to create links with Three Q as a referral for nursing graduates looking for placement post qualification
Assisting in the establishment and maintenance of good working relationships both internal and external to the company, with applicants and client companies
Assist in the preparation for client meetings and update of minutes of meeting after for medical consultants
Escalating concerns and areas for improvement & complaint handling from any applicants
Weekly report to the MD in relation to status of activities requested and carried out
HR Support
Have full knowledge of all positions being advertised – Answer telephone queries and set up interviews as and when required
Screen candidates
Submit and complete reference forms for candidates going for interview
Reference check: as directed by consultants: Two references should be completed per applicant. Telephone references are acceptable at interview stage; however, written references will be sought once a job offer is made
Send emails / letters when applicant not successful
Calling applicants to provide us with documents as requested
Create & stock interview packs
Assist with the implementation and co-ordination of policies and procedures relating to recruitment and selection.
General Support

Maintain records in computerised database
Answering phones on a rostered basis
Answering queries of candidates
Taking bookings & wage requests and forwarding them to the temp division & accounts
While the jobs outlined attempt to identify and highlight key areas of responsibility given the size of the company and the broad nature of the service provided, it is expected that the Administrator will be involved in all aspects of the company’s functions and will be fully interchangeable

Minimum contract: 6 months

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm

Salary: This position is unpaid but allowances will be given for travel and expenses
